Terms and Conditions

PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% is required when booking any trip.
The balance is to be paid in full no less than 25 days prior to commencement of the trip. Payment is required in full when bookings are made less than 20 days before the tour begins.

CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be made in writing to Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club and will be charged a cancellation penalty, depending on the number of days before the tour departure.
When canceling 60 to 30 days prior to departure, a 25% cancellation fee is retained.
When canceling 30 to 14 days prior to departure, a 50% cancellation fee is retained.
Canceling fewer than 14 days prior to departure requires a cancellation fees of 85%.
No refunds can be made for cancellations within one week prior to the start, or after commencement of trip.

UNUSED POTION
There are no refunds for unused portions of the program, and refunds will not be made to passengers who do not complete the trip for any reason.

INCLUDED:
· Full board accommodation.
· All entrance park fees and Crater Tour.
· All Government taxes.
· The service of English (or French, Spanish, Italian, or German) speaking guide.
· 4WD safari vehicle which is built for safari.
· Two airport and hotel transfers.
· A liter of mineral water daily (during game drives).

EXCLUDED:
· Airfare
· Personal insurance
· Airport taxes
· Laundry charges
· Landing fees (for charters)
· Visa
· Drinks, Cigarettes, Telephones
· Gratuities to Guide and Porters
· Changes made to the itinerary may be subject to extra charges.
· Confirmed bookings cannot be transferred to another date.

BAGGAGE
· Due to limited space in the safari vehicle and road conditions, baggage is restricted to one standard-size bag while on safari.
· For scheduled flights within the parks, the maximum baggage allowance is 15 kilograms (33 pounds) per person, only in soft bags. Excess luggage can be stored in the left locker room of most hotels or at our office.

INSURANCE
It is an expressed understanding and condition that any person taking a Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club has their own, private insurance coverage. Such coverage is understood to be adequate and valid, to cover against personal accident, medical attendance, baggage and other items or issues about which individual guests may be concerned.

LIABILITY
The Company acts only as an agent of the passenger in all matters relating to trip and it accepts no responsibility for any personal illness, injury, accident, death, delay, loss, damage or irregularity of any kind, which may be occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as a hotel or airline, who is to, or does supply, any goods or services for the trip.

Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club will not be responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking, fault of third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, or for any other cause beyond its control.
All claims for any loss or injury suffered on any Airline or Hotel must be made directly with the Airline/Hotel involved and not Kilimanjaro Adventure Safari Club.

NOTE: FOR MOUNTAIN TREKKING
The prices for mountain trekking include entry fees, cook, meals, transport to and from mountain gate, rescue fees, hut fees, guides fees, porters’ fees and dosimeter to monitor your acclimatization rate.
It does not include items such as boots, socks, other clothing, climbing sticks, goggles, gloves, etc.
